甘じょっぱいケーキには、深煎りのコーヒーやお酒がよく合います🍶
その都度ご用意しているボトルにコーヒー豆が違うため、

気温の変化や仕入れの様子を見ながら、皆さんの夏を盛り上げられるように9月末ごろまではご提供予定です。

Summer-Exclusive Grilled Corn Cheesecake 🌽🧀
Now available starting Saturday, August 1!

We use plenty of domestically grown corn in both the batter and the toppings,
and by blending soy sauce into the whipped cream,
we bring out the toasty aroma of the grilled corn.

This sweet-and-salty cake pairs perfectly with dark-roast coffee or a glass of wine 🍶
Since the coffee beans in our bottles vary from batch to batch,
please ask our baristas for recommended pairings when you visit! ¨̮

We plan to offer this item until around the end of September,
adjusting our availability based on temperature changes and supply conditions to help make your summer even more enjoyable.

【4周年祭サポーターのご紹介】
4周年祭も今週末に控えて参りました。当日はHICARUのスタッフだけでなく、さまざまな方の協力をいただいております。こちらの投稿にてご紹介いたします。

Photographer :
当店の当日の空気感をそのままにSNSで発信するため、カメラを掲げて撮影協力をお願いしております。日頃から外内問わずに当店の景色を見てきた頼れるカメラマンです。

DJ : .kun
4周年を盛り上げたいという思いで、経験がないところから当日にむけてDJを練習してくれることとなりました。最も近いところから応援してくれている彼だからこそ作れるグルーブをお楽しみください。

Bartender :
オーナー山中の古くからの友人であり、出会いのきっかけとなったバーのバーテンダーとして働いていた彼は、今回のイベントのため6種類用意してくれました。

DJ & mix tape producer :
3年連続HICARUのDJを担当してくださっており、今回はコラボアイテムとして、当店をイメージしたmix tapeを編曲してくれました。当日は限定のコーヒー豆と共にmix tapeを楽しめるオリジナルセットを販売いたします。(詳しくは次の投稿にて)

尾道中華そば大福さま :
当店から徒歩2分のところにある、尾道中華そばのお店です。
シンプルながらに背脂がアクセントのチャーシュー麺が看板商品。
スタッフ一同よく利用しております！
今回はイベントに合わせてオリジナルデザインのステッカーを作成いたしまして、先着100名にお配りいたします！
そちらを大福さんでご提示いただければラーメン一杯無料でご提供いただきます。誠にありがとうございます！

5/22, 23, 24 限定｜ゲイシャのチーズケーキ ¥950-

これまで HICARU COFFEE ROASTER が大切にしてきたバスクチーズケーキを、スペシャルティコーヒーを代表するゲイシャ種に見立ててアレンジしました。

ゲイシャ種のコーヒーは、華やかなフレーバーと余韻の長さが特徴です。このチーズケーキに使用している生クリームには、上質な茉莉花茶葉をたっぷりと漬け込むことで、口当たりはなめらかに、香り高いジャスミンの風味をお楽しみいただけます。また、コーヒーの実からつくったカスカラシロップで甘みを加えることで、チェリー由来のさっぱりとした柔らかな甘さに仕上げました。

コーヒー豆が焙煎によって香ばしく変化するように、このケーキはブリュレにして香ばしさを表現しました。付け合わせのクリームにはパナマゲイシャを少量忍ばせ、ケーキの下には HICARU BLEND を使ったコーヒーソースをあしらっております。

4周年にふさわしい、HICARU らしい一皿が完成しました。

Limited to May 22, 23, and 24 | Geisha Cheesecake ¥950

We’ve reimagined the Basque cheesecake—a staple at HICARU COFFEE ROASTER—as a tribute to the Geisha variety, a flagship specialty coffee.

Geisha coffee is characterized by its vibrant flavors and long-lasting finish. The fresh cream used in this cheesecake is infused with generous amounts of high-quality jasmine tea leaves, resulting in a smooth texture and a fragrant jasmine flavor. Additionally, we’ve added sweetness using cascara syrup made from coffee cherries, creating a refreshing, soft sweetness reminiscent of cherries.

Just as coffee beans develop a rich, toasty aroma through roasting, we’ve applied a brûlée finish to this cake to evoke that same character. We’ve subtly incorporated a small amount of Panama Geisha into the accompanying cream, and beneath the cake, we’ve layered a coffee sauce made with HICARU BLEND.

We’ve created a dish that embodies the essence of HICARU, perfect for our 4th anniversary.

コロナ禍にオープンし閉店危機になることも何度もありましたが、
幾度の困難も毎日お店を守り続けてくれるスタッフの存在があってこそ、立ち向かってくることができました。

この4周年イベントは当店の軌跡を仲間とお客様と共に振り返る日にしたいです。目の前のお客様に感動を届けるために、今日も一杯と一皿向き合い続けますので、どうか当日はお店にお越しくださいませ。

-HICARU COFFEE ROASTERとカメラのはなし-

4/28はダウン症のバリスタである玉井美帆バリスタの誕生日でした。
毎年プレゼントをスタッフ全員で考えて送るのですが、今年は悩むことなくカメラになりました。

カメラの面白いところは、同じものを撮っていても、収めたい瞬間も目線も撮り手によって大きく異なるところです。そしてそれはファインダーを覗く人の価値観がギュッと詰まって写真に現れます。
ぶれていてもいいんです。その瞬間を素早く切り取りたかったんだな。と意思が前に出ているのことのほうが尊いと感じます。

玉井はこれまで働いてきて、たくさんのお客様に笑顔を届けてきました。そしてそれをスマホの中に記録しています。記録されたものは放置せずに、毎日見返すものも。誰よりもその一瞬一瞬を大切にしていると感じ、彼女にこそカメラを持ってほしかった。なのでプレゼントしました。

僕たちにとっての何気ない毎日は、誰かにとって憧れのある大切な時間です。それ作り出してくれるスタッフやお客様をより鮮やかに記録したい。そしてその記録を辿って次のお客様や、知らない人に僕たちを知ってもらえたらと思います。なので私も自分のカメラを大切にしています。

当ブランド、そして我々からの写真での発信には、そんな想いが込められていることを知ってくれた上で、これからの投稿を楽しみにしてもらえると嬉しいです。

April 28 was the birthday of Miho Tamai, our barista with Down syndrome.
Every year, all of us on staff brainstorm and send her a gift, but this year, we didn’t hesitate—we decided on a camera.

The fascinating thing about cameras is that even when photographing the same subject, the moment the photographer wants to capture and their perspective can vary greatly depending on the person behind the lens. And that perspective—packed with the values of the person looking through the viewfinder—is vividly reflected in the photograph.
It’s okay if the shot is blurry. I feel that the intention to quickly capture that moment is far more precious.

Throughout her time working here, Tamai has brought smiles to countless customers. She records those moments on her smartphone. She doesn’t just leave those memories there—she looks back at them every day. I felt that she cherishes each and every moment more than anyone else, and I wanted her, more than anyone, to have a camera. That’s why I gave it to her.

What may seem like an ordinary day to us is a cherished, aspirational moment for someone else. I want to capture the staff and customers who create those moments in even more vivid detail. And I hope that by following those records, future customers and even strangers will come to know us. That’s why I treasure my own camera as well.

I hope you’ll keep in mind that these sentiments are woven into the photos we share as a brand and as individuals, and I’d be delighted if you look forward to our future posts.
