Visited Okinawa Getto no Kai (月桃の会), the Ryukyu branch of the Japan Origami Association, yesterday.

Thanks to Kanejima Eiko Sensei for letting us visit her origami gallery. It was filled with so many fantastic artworks!

Thanks to our neighbors and friends, Ikehara Mitsuko-san and Ooda Michiko-san (students of Kanejima Sensei), who helped us visit the gallery and also taught us several origami pieces throughout the afternoon.

Thanks to Trudy and her friends, who love Okinawa’s local culture and were willing to learn.

Without all of these people and moments coming together, none of this would have become such a fantastic day full of laughter.
