昨日、私の誕生日を素敵なみなさんにお祝いしていただきました
毎年毎年サプライズを考えるのも大変ですよね
本当にありがとうございます！
いつも通りではない行動を急にする可能性があるので、
こっそり連絡を取り合って、
「今井さん、ごはん屋さんで◯◯さんと会って、
食べ終わってるのに話し込んで、なかなか話が終わりそうにない」とか、
「やっと会計したから、今からそっち向かってる」とか
「こっちは準備できているので、いつでもOKです」
とか、
刑事さながらの連絡の取り方で、やってたんでしょ？
知らんふりするのも大変です（嘘）
本当にみなさん、

Yesterday, I got to celebrate my birthday with some of my favorite people
I can only imagine how hard it must be to come up with a surprise every single year…
Seriously, thank you so much!
And because I’m apparently capable of doing something completely unexpected at any moment, I’m pretty sure there was a whole secret operation going on behind the scenes…
“He’s still at the restaurant talking… They finished eating ages ago, but it doesn’t look like he’s leaving anytime soon.”
“Update: He finally paid. He’s on his way!”
“We’re ready over here. Anytime!”
Basically, you guys were communicating like detectives on a stakeout
Meanwhile, pretending I had absolutely no idea what was going on was pretty hard work too… just saying.
(Kidding)
But seriously, thank you all from the bottom of my heart.
I feel incredibly lucky to have such wonderful people around me.
