Hi there!
I'm Vishika Ranawat and I'm a hotel management graduate who has a deep deep love for food.
Basically I'm from Rajasthan but due to my father's job we have been transferred frequently to different places. We moved to Kochi few months ago from Jaipur.
With each passing day I'm falling in love with kochi and it's delicacies (I eat beef so I know what amazing dishes Kerala has). I'm new here and sometimes I do miss the North Indian food and that's when it struck me that I should start making North Indian dishes from home and that's how YANA started.
So, here I'm today introducing two dishes that are packed with full of flavours-
• The notoriously famous LAL MAAS- It is a spicy mutton preparation from Rajasthan made with curd, chillies and aromatic spices. A gravy that is rich, with mutton pieces falling just right off the bone gorgeously, this will surely leave your tastebuds tantalizing for more. It'll be served along with 4 chapatis and a piece of jaggery to end the meal with.
The next one is North Indian style DAHI BADE or DAHI BHALLA. This is a dish which has pillowy dumplings made with urad dal, soaked in sweet homemade curd, topped with Tamarind chutney and spices. A perfect sweet bomb explosion for your mouth.
