塩屋カントリークラブは昭和初期に、英国人アーネスト・ウイリアム・ジェームス氏（1889-1952）によって造られた外国人専用住宅地“ジェームス山”に誕生した90年の歴史を持つ由緒ある会員制の社交クラブです。

今も外国人住宅地入口には当時のジェームス山の象徴である御影石で作られた英国ライオン像が出迎えています。

かつて、日本に滞在したことがある英国人作家サマセット・モームは1936年、塩屋を舞台にした短編小説“A friend in need”を発表し、その中に塩屋カントリークラブの名前は使われています。

現在、クラブレストランは会員以外の方もご利用頂けます。レストランに入るとまず正面にみられるのがアーネスト･ウイリアム･ジェームスのにっこり笑った写真です。奥の暖炉横に飾られている写真は1960年代頃の塩屋カントリークラブの写真です。

異国情緒のある当クラブレストランで、クラブシェフのお料理をごゆっくりお楽しみください。

初夏をイメージしたトマトソースを使用しないマルゲリータです。

生地の味がストレートに感じられるのが特徴で、生地の甘味やうま味をフレッシュのミニトマトとバジルがさわやかに感じさせてくれます。

🍕 June Seasonal Pizza

Our featured pizza for June is the Margherita Bianca, a white Margherita made without tomato sauce, inspired by the fresh feeling of early summer.

You can enjoy the flavor of the dough directly. The natural sweetness and rich taste of the crust are beautifully complemented by fresh cherry tomatoes and fragrant basil, creating a light and refreshing flavor.

We still have tables available for dinner both today and tomorrow.

3枚目の写真は昔のスタッフが埋めたアボカド🥑の種がこんなに大きくなりました。

本日は都合により、通常のランチコースはご用意出来ませんが、アラカルトメニューでお食事が可能です。

In the third photo, you can see how much the avocado tree has grown from a seed planted years ago by one of our former staff.
