MADARAO FOREST TRAIL 🌲🏃

50K in Madarao? Just in time to start training. ;)
Oh well... runner or not, we’ll be serving sourdough sandwiches either way. 🥪

On 17 & 18 October, the Madarao Forest Trail is happening, and you can find us there with plenty of good food.

So whether you’re running the 50K, cheering from the sidelines, or just there for the food, come say hi!

This weekend, the 19th edition of Madarao Jazz is bringing the music back to the mountains!

Previously known as the Newport Jazz Festival Madarao (1982–2004), the festival has a legendary history, welcoming artists such as B.B. King, Dizzy Gillespie, Dave Brubeck, Wayne Shorter, Celia Cruz, Sérgio Mendes, Dianne Reeves, Michael Brecker, and many more 🎶

We’ll be there all weekend serving our sourdough sandwiches, homemade cookies & fresh smoothies 🥪🍪🥤

Come by, grab something to eat, and enjoy the jazz!

In 2019 we fell in love with a ski lodge in Japan. Outdated and with a lot of neglected maintenance we still saw the potential of this property.

While in operation since winter ‘19/‘20 we kept renovating in the off season for 4 years. After a lot of unexpected discoveries and hard work we are super proud with the end result.

Nowadays we’re welcoming guests every day of the year and we can’t wait to welcome you.

Market season is officially here! 🥪

Over the past few weekends, we've been busy serving our sourdough sandwiches at some fantastic local events. We were invited by to join their market during Moon Camp, a camping weekend they organized, and the weekend before that you could find us at the Tangram Family Marche (.madarao).

In a week, we'll be back at Lake Nojiri for another market (), and we're hoping there are many more to come this season!
