Taiwan → Appi.
For next season’s lodging reservations,
we’re seeing a lot of guests from Taiwan.
The booking channels are diverse—WhatsApp, Messenger, LINE, email, and more—
and while inquiries are naturally in Taiwanese and English,
there are also quite a few in very high-level Japanese.
So, I find myself wondering, “Which language should I use to reply?”
As I ponder this,
I’m so happy that they love Japan,
so I deliberately choose Japanese, hoping to show my respect in my own way in response to theirs.
And as I always think,
I want to engage even more deeply
with the overflowing affection from everyone in Taiwan,
so that the arrow points from Appi toward Taiwan.
This winter, I plan to do my absolute best to welcome them.
