Hi Everyone ... Hope you are all staying as safe as possible during these scary times.
Firstly, i know its a bit late but thanks sooooo sooooo much to everyone who came out and celebrated the last days at Fubar. It was a great 14 yrs, but as they say all good things come to an end.
As many of you know i have been working on opening up a new spot in the same location as Fubar, that hopefully is a bit more in tune with the times. Aiming for that sweet spot between a bar and club. Keeping the Dancing (new DJ's), song requests and the beloved nomihoudai. But offering Free entry and a few more things i will keep up my sleeve, but hopefully a more interactive and fun enviroment for these inst-times.
The plan was to do a small pre-open last weekend and Grand open this weekend. I am sad to say that we will NOT be opening this weekend.
I feel that it would be socially irresponsible to open at the moment because as you showed with the turnout for the last night at Fubar, i am sure that many of you would have shown up even despite having some doubts.
I am unwilling to put you and my staff in the situation of having to choose between supporting a friend and risking your health, so i and have made the decision to postpone. To those of you who had already made plans to come out i apologise but please at the weekend.
I still don't think we are at the lockdown stage just yet, but it is slowly creeping up on us everyday. No matter how careful you are, crowded clubs and bars filled with young irresponsible kids and alcohol fuelled bad decisions are probably not the best place to be right now.
Even though we will not be opening for a while, i will start promoting the place on social media etc. I would be amazing if you could please give a like, share a post or invite a friend so that when it is safe to do so we can have one mother of all F%ck Off Covid-19 parties and also open is style.
