One week of setting up… and we’re finally done.

Honestly, Perth Royal Show is one of those things that makes me question my life choices every single year.

Before the first order, before the lights come on, and before anyone even sees the stall, there’s already been a ridiculous amount of carrying, building, cleaning, fixing… and going back out to buy the one thing we somehow forgot.

But somehow, we made it again.

We’re back at Perth Royal Show 2026.

Long Paddock — Site 10–11.

Every year I joke that maybe one day I’ll be too tired to do this again.

So while I’m still here doing it… you’d better come find us this year.

今年もなんとか、準備が終わりました。

ロイヤルショーの準備をするたびに毎年思います。

「なんでまたこんな大変なことやってるんだろう」って。笑

運んで、組み立てて、掃除して、
「あれがない」「これも足りない」でまた買いに行って、
気づけば一週間。

まだ営業すら始まってないのに、もう結構疲れてます。

でも、今年もちゃんと戻ってきました。

今週はちょっと忙しい一週間になりそうです。

お祭りに行ったり、マーケットに行ったり、海の近くに行ったり、最後はNorth Freoまで。

今週パースにいる方は、たぶんどこかで私たちを見つけられると思います。

相変わらず真剣な顔で料理してるかもしれませんが、怒ってるわけではありません。たぶん集中してるだけです。

This week is going to be a busy one.

A little bit of Matsuri, a little bit of farmers market, a little bit of beach, and somehow we’re ending up in North Freo too.

Basically, if you’re around Perth this week, there’s a pretty good chance you can find us somewhere.

We’ll be cooking, probably looking slightly too serious while doing it, and trying our best to keep up with all of you.

We’ll be there serving Japanese street food from 5PM–9PM, and after this one… we’ll have to say, “see you next year.”
