Cherry blossom season has arrived and if you are planning to see them, Japanese bento (lunchbox) is the best match for it!!
The Japanese Meteorological Corporation has released that cherry blossom “sakura” has officially bloomed in Tokyo. From March to April, you can see many beautiful sakura around Japan.
There is Japanese tradition called “hanami” which is a picnic to view sakura. Many often gather with family, co-workers or friends under the sakura tree to enjoy bento and alcohol. During this season, local parks are filled with people who go out to do hanami.
We bring a feast to hanami within bento box in Japanese tradition, either buy from restaurant or make it at home. Itamae Sushi offers you two best chirashizushi bento for hanami.
First one is tuna chirashizushi. “chirashizushi” is Japanese style of the bowl. In the bento, many parts of tuna are laid all over the rice. You can enjoy many aspects of tuna with only one bento. Only tuna, but you will not get tired. It is 3,780 yen.
Another one is also chirashizushi, but not only tuna, many kinds of raw fish. On the top of rice, there are shrimps, salmons and its roes, conger eels, young sardines, gizzard shads, tunas and red-snappers. You will surely love this one. Enjoy many kinds of raw fish and it only costs 3,024 yen.
