Hi, this is Ruito☺️

Today, I had a really great time chatting with a customer who came to Japan all the way from the U.S.!

His Japanese is surprisingly good—he told me he learned it by watching Takuya Kimura’s YouTube videos 😳

I jokingly said, “Wait a minute!” but maybe because of the generation gap, it didn’t really land 😓😂

Believe it or not, he came to our shop two days in a row!

I heard he also visited Enoshima, and I was truly happy to hear that he enjoyed Japan 🇯🇵

I’m always grateful for these fun encounters and conversations!

The second was "Game Day," where we split into groups to play battle game and a mysterious marathon game🎮 I'm terrible at games, but everyone else was so good, it was fun to watch😆

We'll have lots more events where we can chat, so please join us! I'm looking forward to seeing you all💫

It was a very meaningful and educational experience. We plan to hold similar activities again in the future, so if you're interested, please join us next time!

Stop Saying "Anata" in Japanese! 🚫🙅‍♀️

Did you know using "Anata" can actually make people feel uncomfortable?

While many textbooks translate "you" as Anata, native speakers rarely use it in real life. It can sound distant, unnaturally formal, or even a little bit rude depending on the situation! Instead, locals prefer to use the person's name directly with "~san" or simply drop the pronoun altogether. Save this video to make your speech sound much more polite and authentic!
