To provide customers with an excellent food experience, all Chefs must strive to meet the following Basic Requirements.

Provide Great Food –

As a Chef, this is the where you show off your cooking skills by providing great tasting food, in the right portion quantity, which is packaged well.
Follow Hygiene and Food Safety Standards: As a Chef, your reputation for providing safe and hygienic foods is most important. You should be cooking for your customers as if you are cooking for your own family. Following the simple yet important food hygiene and safety rules are expected of every Chef.

Provide Accurate Listings:

Providing accurate details about yourself and the food you are offering will set the right expectations for your customer. Quality pictures that accurately show your food will help the foodie understand what they will be getting. Properly describing the dish, serving size, dietary details will foodies decide if your dish is right for them and will avoid bad reviews, complaints, and refund claims.
Accept orders (avoid order cancellations): You set the time you need to prepare for food and also manage your availability to take orders from your Chef Portal. This is easy to do so once your dish is on offer, we expect you to accept orders as no customer likes to hear that the dish they ordered cannot be prepared.
We take cancellations seriously as once a customer orders he is expecting the food to arrive. If you cancel confirmed orders, you will be subject to financial penalties as well as your performance rating will be affected.

Be Responsive on Communication:

By signing up to be a Chef on HomeChef you have indicated that you want to run a food business. Therefore, it is important to stay available on email and phone calls so that orders and deliveries can be coordinated. Our default communication is by email and we expect that you will be checking emails and where required answering calls to ensure smooth order and delivery ex*****on.
