Our commitment is to pay a fair price to the hard working coffee growing communities and trade only with the good heart-ed collectors who care about the farmers well being. We also try to develop a strong bond and trust between all parts in order to continue to bring you this treasure

every season with consistency. Coffee farming in Yemen is organic by default because there is no availability of chemical fertilizers or pesticides. Yemeni coffee is picked by hand, and the best comes when only the fully ripened cherries are harvested. Each tree must be revisited repeatedly, as the fruit ripens. Coffee cherries are then carried to the roof-tops for drying under the sun. Laid out on mats made from the date palm fibers. The farmers take a lot of care to protect the cherries from contamination, mould development during the two week drying period. The dried cherries are then transferred to breathable jute bags for aging, which seems to be critical for development of the unique “Earthly” taste.
