Bob and his bees only met through sheer luck and perseverance. Years ago in Jamaica, Bob was listening to the radio and heard a feature on beekeeping. Being a former lecturer in biology - this really appealed to him. On his return to England he took an introductory course in beekeeping. Two years later - one of his former students introduced Bob to her father, Brian; a semi-retired beekeeper. Prior to the first meeting; Bob did some swatting up to impress Brian. But Bob’s rudimentary knowledge didn’t cut it as Brian announced,

“Bob - bees don’t read books!”

A successful two year apprenticeship followed and now Bob - and his bees produce the finest and much sought after Logwood and Tropical Multi Floral honey - back where it all started, in Jamaica!
