A warm Wholly Ground welcome to our new followers ☀️ Let us fill you in on what we're up to!

Our community café, first established in 2022 by St Mark’s church, has a simple mission: to provide a welcoming space where people can find rest, create community and have great quality coffee.

Over the past few years, we’ve been delighted to see our café become a hive of activity. From our work experience scheme with Mont A L’Abbé school from 2022-2024, to the development of our children’s playroom, Wholly Ground Café has always been an inclusive space for everyone to enjoy!

We are very aware that going out for a meal or drink is a luxury not available to everyone, so we work hard to keep our products at an affordable price. Our Pay It Forward scheme is also available for those that need it, offering free meals at zero cost.

A small amount of parking is available on site but don’t worry if it is full, as we’re only a short walk from the town center.

We sincerely appreciate all of the support shown to us over these past few years and hope that the huge growth we have seen so far will only continue!

We’re so excited to welcome Daphne as the new manager at Wholly Ground Café! Her heart for serving the community and her love for Jesus make her such a wonderful addition to our café family.

A huge thank you to the lovely Mel from Beresford Street Kitchen, who has finished her work placement with us!

As a café, we are proud to work with Beresford Street Kitchen in providing work experience placements, through which BSK crew members can gain knowledge and confidence through working in a highly supportive environment.

It has been a delight to have Mel in the café with us over the last 6 weeks as she gains experience in hospitality outside of her work at Beresford Street Kitchen, and I’m sure you’ll join us in wishing her all the best for the future!

Good morning all ☀️ Just a quick reminder that the cafe’s opening hours today will be from 10am-2pm, closing earlier than usual in order to host a private event run by the Grace Trust.

Hello lovely people! We are making a small change to our opening hours and want to keep you informed ⭐️

From 4th August, opening hours for the café will be from 10am - 2pm, Tuesday - Saturday.

This is to ensure that you receive the best services we can offer as the café begins its transition into new management. The changes to our opening hours will be in effect for the foreseeable future but, as always, we will keep you in the loop with any new developments!

Until 4th August, we will continue to operate with our current opening times of Tuesday-Friday, 10am-4.30pm and Saturdays, 10am-2pm.

Thank you for your understanding - we can’t wait to see you this summer!

As the Kings Chamber Orchestra complete their annual week long tour of Jersey in their festival Joyeuse, we are beyond blessed to have them hot foot from leading the service at St Paul's Jersey to join us at St Mark’s.

The church is full of the love and warmth and goodness of the Holy Spirit, may it pour out of the doors of the church into ‘Springfield’ and all our neighbours know that it is for you too.
