La Caravella is one of the most celebrated restaurants in Venice, opened in 1963. The restaurant is well-known for its excellent cuisine and service, but also for the unique nautical style of its décor, which evokes the vessels used by Christopher Columbus. In summer the service moves outdoors to the flower-filled Venetian courtyard, with original Venetian wells. The restaurant serves typical Venetian cuisine, with fish specialities and a great wines selection.
