All'Antica Trattoria Poste Vecie, il menù non è l’unica cosa da scoprire.
Tra una portata e l’altra, vale la pena alzare lo sguardo: nella sala dei sette vizi capitali, gli affreschi del Cherubini arricchiscono le pareti e accompagnano da secoli la vita di questo luogo, osservando silenziosamente cene, brindisi e conversazioni.
Sopra il grande caminetto trova spazio anche un affresco dedicato ai membri più illustri del Club delle Poste, che tra la fine dell’Ottocento e l’inizio del Novecento si riunivano qui per discutere di arte e politica davanti a un bicchiere di vino e ai tradizionali cicchetti veneziani.
Ogni figura racconta una storia diversa, aggiungendo fascino e carattere a uno degli ambienti più suggestivi del nostro ristorante.

Between one course and the next, take a moment to look up: in the Hall of the Seven Deadly Sins, Cherubini’s frescoes adorn the walls and have silently watched over dinners, toasts, and conversations for centuries.
Above the grand fireplace, you’ll find a fresco dedicated to the most distinguished members of the Poste Club, who gathered here between the late 19th and early 20th centuries to discuss art and politics over a glass of wine and traditional Venetian cicchetti.
Each figure tells a different story, adding charm and character to one of the most evocative rooms in our restaurant.
