In the '40s, Antonino (' or Parrucchiano), having no heirs, left the trattoria to his young nephew Giuseppe Manniello, lost his father at the age of seven, who had been brought up as a child and had learned the art of cooking. Joseph day after day he managed to revive the local and its historic popular cuisine, making it famous throughout the world.
