Okie BBQ has the influnce from our neighbors in Texas and Kansas. Grew up in Oklahoma because my dad was stationed there in the miltary.

Traveled around the world in the restaurant business. Now I am doing what I love cooking meat and meeting new friends.

Been a long while!! So, my update is we have been busy renovating our new house and getting my mother moved over from Oklahoma. My drivers licence will not allow me to drive a big enough truck to pull the trailer yet. So plan B is now like plan L. I live in Cupa which is Sessa Aurunca 20 minutes south of Gatea and Formia. My friend has a bar in Cupa, so we are organizing Dec 8th American BBQ. With more events planned.

Well I thought it was time to give an update on Fuoco Amico. The trolley is heading in for the eletric system in the next week. We than will tackle the spectic and water system, after that should come quickly since I have all the equipment expect for the hood system. I now have a location to park the trailer!!!!! I will release the location at a later date, since we need to finish the build and get the permits and approval from city.

Gaeta Festival is done, we did load out today. It was a learning expericence with some ups and downs. The best was meeting and making a lot of contacts (guests and vendors)! I am a catering business so if you have a party and want BBQ I can still do that while I finish the food trailer. I will be taking my wife and dogs to the mountains for some much needed family time on skis and rest. We have more than a few things in the works that look promising besides finishing the trailer. We will keep you posted and THANK YOU ALL for visiting us and meeting you.....SEE YOU SOON!!!!

Gaeta event is near the finish line! So come get your fix. I have pulled pork, pork belly (BBQ candy), ribs, and turkey. When we are sold out that will be all for Gaeta. Depending on what meat we have will depend if we open the 14th and 15th!!!
