1964-2024
Siamo arrivati a Roveredo nel 1964, in cerca di una nuova opportunità dopo una parentesi da emigranti in Algeria: Anna, Luigi, Sergio e Gerald.
Siamo arrivati in un paese che, allora, era un quinto di ciò che è oggi, lo abbiamo visto cambiare, ne abbiamo visto la storia recente e, spesso, ne siamo stati parte attiva.
Ci avete visto crescere con il matrimonio di Sergio e Marirosa e l’arrivo, dopo qualche anno, di Alessandro. Abbiamo visto nascere e crescere molti di voi e in molti casi anche i vostri figli. Abbiamo conosciuto i vostri genitori e i vostri nonni, abbiamo avuto l’onore di condividere i vostri momenti di gioia e quelli di tristezza, siamo stati parte della vostra quotidianità e voi della nostra. Molti di voi sono amici prima che clienti.
Ci avete dato molto, e noi abbiamo dato molto a voi.
Ora è giunto il momento, per noi, di dedicarci del tempo per le attività cui abbiamo rinunciato per lavoro in questi sessant’anni.
Ci spiace lasciarvi “orfani” del K2, abbiamo raggiunto un’età in cui le nostre energie non ci permettono di garantirvi il livello di qualità che ci ha caratterizzato e per il quale ci sceglievate, non è stata una scelta semplice ma crediamo sia la scelta più opportuna.
Ringraziamo tutte le collaboratrici che sono state parte della squadra del K2 in tutti questi anni, anche voi siete state parte di questo bellissimo cammino.
Per sempre grati a tutti Voi. Vi porteremo sempre nel cuore, e speriamo altrettanto.
Sergio, Marirosa, Gerald, Alessandro e, da lassù, anche Gigi ed Anna che sicuramente ci stanno guardando con orgoglio vedendo ciò che il K2 è stato per ciascuno di Voi.
We arrived in Roveredo in 1964, with our suitcases in hand in search of a new opportunity after an interlude as emigrants in Algeria.
We arrived in a town that, back then, was a fifth of what it is today, we have seen it change and grow, we have seen its recent history and, often, we have been an active part of it.
You have seen us grow with the wedding of Sergio and Marirosa and the arrival, after a few years, of Alessandro. We have seen many of you born and grow adults and in many cases we saw you becoming parents of your children and saw them growing, we have had the honor of knowing your parents and grandparents, we have had the honor of sharing your moments of joy and those of sadness, we were part of your daily life and you of ours.
You have given us a lot, and we have given a lot to you.
Many of you are friends, not just customers.
Now the time has come, for us, to give ourselves time to the activities we have given up for work in these sixty years. We are sorry to leave you orphans of K2, it was not an easy choice, but we have reached an age in which our energies do not allow us to guarantee you the level of quality that has characterized us and for which you chose us, we believe it is the most appropriate choice.
We would like to thank all the collaborators who have been part of the K2 team in all these years, you too have been part of this beautiful journey.
Forever grateful to all of you. We will always carry you in our hearts, and we hope the same. Sergio, Marirosa, Gerald, Alessandro and, from up there, also Gigi and Anna who are surely looking at us with pride in their eyes seeing what K2 has been for each of you.
