You will be introduced by the hand of a local Sommelier to some basic rules about wine tasting and s Then also a sweet wine with a typical Italian dessert.

We offer our guests a chance to discover Italian Wine by the hand of a local Sommelier, who will be responsible for introducing you to the fascinating world of wine and wine tasting in English. Red, white, rosè, sparkling and dessert wines are just some of the products she is capable of commenting on. As host, she will find an explanation of the sensory analysis of the wine's origin, qualities, organoleptic properties and brands available in the market. The day's agenda starts at 6 pm in a wine cellar of a restaurant Prati Urbani near the Vatican City where you will taste 3 dry wines selected by the Sommelier accompanied by an Italian antipasto and 3 kinds of pasta. The Sommelier will give an educational talk about interesting concepts in wine service, emblematic varietals, wine-producing regions and tips about how to pair wine with food. In the wine tasting room of Prati Urbani you will do something enjoyable in a relaxing and frendly environment with people like you, tourist in Rome who want to share a new experience.
