The hotel occupies a structure that dates back prior to the fifteenth century when it was constructed on the walls of the ancient Diquattro Palace . It has an atmosphere of tranquility and well-being, partly attributable to its thick stone walls and rich history. The property enjoys panoramic views of Ragusa Ibla and the adjacent gardens; the sound of the flowing river (San Leonardo) in front of the hotel completes the scene. The hotel has 10 guest rooms which are spacious and elegantly furnished in traditional style. The chandeliers are a particular note, unique to each room, which are handcrafted by Murano glass, Bohemian crystal, bronze peltrato and embellished Capodimonte porcelain.
