Not a fil rouge, but a fil bleu.

A distinctive shade of blue weaving its way through every detail, from the hand-painted porcelain and bespoke stationery to the rich fabrics and even the groom’s shoes.

Set against the centuries-old stone walls of a Tuscan castle, this destination wedding brought together Italian heritage, personal style and a carefully considered design.

A celebration where the historic setting and the couple’s personality became part of the same story, with blue as the thread connecting it all.

Dinner was still in full swing when the guests decided the fountain was the perfect dance floor. With live music, everyone dancing and laughter all around, the evening turned into one wonderfully spontaneous celebration.

Late summer has its own palette: deep reds, warm oranges, soft pinks and touches of gold, set against the green of the Tuscan countryside.

From dahlias and gladioli to berries, lemons and the colours of the food itself, the same late-summer shades found their way naturally through every part of the day.

Who said speeches and special moments have to wait until dinner?

The couple chose to have some of them during cocktail hour, when everyone was already together, drinks in hand, moving around the garden and enjoying that beautiful in-between moment of the day.

A few words, a few tears, plenty of laughter and suddenly the aperitivo became something more than cocktails and canapés. It became one of the most personal parts of the celebration.

Sometimes, moving one tradition to a different moment is all it takes to change the atmosphere completely.
