Both fermentation and handmade ceramics have deeply influenced the way we cook and the way we present food to our guests.
We’re delighted to welcome a handful of guests to learn these arts in the course of two workshops we will host in November this year.
Fermentation Workshop, 19-24 November 2026:
Alessandra Esposito () and Giorgia Eugenia Goggi will introduce you to the fascinating world of transforming ingredients through fermentation. You will work on lacto-ferments, kimchi, sauerkraut, kombucha, fermented drinks, vinegars, miso, garum, cheong and sourdough starters, learning how microorganisms can build flavor, complexity and depth. Alongside the classes, we’ll visit local markets and producers, and share meals, conversations and ideas around the table.
Creative Ceramic Workshop, 26-30 November 2026:
Together with ceramicist Linda Calugi from Linda Calugi, you will explore diverse techniques, materials and textures. You will evolve from first, simple gestures to your very own fully handmade pieces, all while learning about food styling and enjoying Giorgia’s cuisine. Rounding out the experience are studio visits with local artisans, antique markets, and slow walks from fields to shore, seeking inspiration.
