Casa Lucia is finally able to offer in-house classes again......
Hi Everyone, huge apologies, I can't quite believe it's been so long since we gave you an update.... But the very best news is that Stage 1 of recreating Casa Lucia is complete.
What this means in reality is that we can finally offer daytime cookery classes in our own premises and residential stays in nearby villas.
Obviously it's great news, but there's still a way to go and work to be completed before we can offer residential, fully inclusive food and wine experiences here.... So the fundraising isn't over.
If you haven't seen our page before then there are lots of details in our story, but in essence, it's been a long 10 years since the earthquakes of 2016 and us having to vacate our home.
Details of how to donate if you can are included in the post.
For now, we want to thank each and every one of you who have supported our story so far and hope that many of you will be able to come and visit us one day.
Please don't hesitate to get in touch if you're already staying in the area and would like to come and cook some local recipes or if you're planning to visit in the future.
We've already had some brilliant sessions focusing on pasta and bread, but we're happy to focus on any aspects of cooking and particular recipes that you are interested in adding to your repertoire.
Mike and I thank you all for the help and support over the last few years.
