Every American watching this is either laughing… or looking at houses in Tuscany right now. 😂🇮🇹

And that’s how it starts…
✈️ First it’s a vacation
📸 Then it becomes an obsession
🔎 Then you’re checking flights every week
🏡 Then you’re looking at houses in Tuscany

💬 Then you’re telling your spouse…
Maybe we should move to Italy 🇮🇹❤️

And honestly… that’s exactly what happens to a lot of Americans
So Americans don’t visit Italy! They accidentally start planning a second life here 😂🇮🇹✈️🏡

🇮🇹❤️

My friend Tyler spends thousands of dollars every year to come back to Italy 🇮🇹
Not for the food 🍝
Not for the wine 🍷
Not for the views 🌄

He says Italy reminds him of something many people have forgotten:

How to enjoy life without rushing through it

Do you think he’s right? 🇮🇹❤️🇺🇸

Italian moms don’t ask if you’re hungry
They’ve already decided that you are😂🇮🇹
You could be 7 years old
You could be 27 years old
You could be 57 years old
To an Italian mom, you haven’t eaten enough
“Mom, I already ate”
“Okay… but did you eat?”
🍝🤌❤️
Different countries, different cultures, different parenting styles…
But one thing never changes:
Every mom in the world just wants her children to be happy, healthy, and honestly... that’s how they show love 🥰

🇺🇸 Americans: “What’s the plan tonight?”

🇮🇹 Italians: “Let’s go sit in the piazza”

🇺🇸 “And then?”

🇮🇹 “That’s the plan” 😂

Who do you relate to more?

Americans always ask me why Italians walk so much 🤔🇮🇹
People think it’s the Mediterranean lifestyle
The olive oil🫒
The pasta 🍝
The fresh food 🥬

But honestly… I think it’s something else 😂

In Italy, walking is just part of life
After lunch? Walk.
After dinner? Walk.
Meeting friends? Walk.
Bored at home? “Let’s go for a passeggiata” 🚶‍♂️🇮🇹

Meanwhile in America, some people drive 2 minutes just to buy coffee ☕🚗

But do you want to know the REAL reason Italians walk so much? 👀

Because if you move the car…
you lose the parking spot 😭

And finding another parking spot can take longer than the place you were actually go to 😂

I told these American girls:
“The more limoncello you drink… the better your Italian singing becomes” 🍋😂🇮🇹
At first they laughed…
Ten minutes later they were screaming “Sarà perché ti amo” like they grew up in a tiny village in Tuscany 🎶🍝
I swear this song has magical powers. Every American comes to Italy knowing maybe two Italian words… and somehow leaves singing this at full volume with strangers 😭🇺🇸🇮🇹
At this point, this is no longer just a song.
It’s the unofficial Italian national anthem for Americans on vacation 🍋😂

One of the biggest differences between Italy and America is food culture 🇮🇹
In Italy, many people still shop almost every day because freshness matters more than convenience
Bread from today🥖
Vegetables from today🥬🥦🫜
Mozzarella from today 🧀
It’s slower… but maybe that’s exactly the point

In America, people eat between meetings, classes, traffic, work, and phone calls ☺️
In Italy, even in everyday life — Monday to Friday — people stop for lunch🇮🇹
Not because they’re on vacation
Not because life is perfect

Because Italians grow up believing that food deserves time✌️

And of course Americans enjoy life too — especially on weekends, vacations, or Friday nights out.

But in daily life?

That’s probably why Italians think Americans are always in a rush 😂

A lot of you ask me why I talk so much about the United States🇺🇸❤️

The main reason is simple: I married a real American girl from the Midwest.
So over the last 23 years, I’ve learned a lot about American culture… or at least I hope so 😂

Ours is a long story, and it’s impossible to explain it all in a 20-second video.
But these Sundays in Tuscany with our 4 kids… these are the moments I love the most 🇮🇹❤️
