Dear Friends,
After 26 years of tremendous success and service, it is with immense emotion that we announce the closure of Ristorante D'Amore.
As owners of the eponymous restaurant, the D'Amore family has decided to bring this chapter to an end in order to embark upon new adventures.
These years have been very intense, exciting, and incredibly rewarding. We've experienced many victories and even a few setbacks but always faced them with the utmost love and professionalism towards our customers, our kitchen, and our service staff.
First and foremost, we would like to thank all our customers who have chosen us and shown us their appreciation throughout this long journey. We also extend our thanks to all the staff members who have supported us, and we wish them a bright future filled with prosperous professional adventures: we hope that their experience at "D'Amore" has contributed to their professional and personal growth.
Finally, we wish the new management the best of luck. They will undoubtedly know how to bring out the best of both the restaurant and its cuisine, all in the name of Capri. We wish them all the best in their endeavors.

è con enorme commozione annunciare che dopo 26 anni di servizio e di grandi soddisfazioni, il Ristorante D’Amore cessa la propria attività.
La famiglia D’Amore, titolare dell’omonimo ristorante, ha scelto di fermarsi per poter contestualmente proiettarsi verso nuove avventure.
Questi anni sono stati molto intensi, emozionanti, ricchi di gratificazioni, tante le vittorie ed anche qualche sconfitta, ma sempre affrontate con il massimo dell’amore e della professionalità verso la clientela, la cucina e il servizio.
Ringraziamo, innanzitutto, tutti i clienti che in questo lungo periodo ci hanno selezionato e mostrato il loro affetto; ringraziamo tutti i membri dello staff che ci hanno supportato ed ai quali auguriamo un brillante futuro di floride esperienze professionali: speriamo che l’esperienza al “D’Amore” possa averli aiutati nel loro percorso di crescita lavorativa e personale.
Infine, un grosso in bocca al lupo va ai nuovi gestori che sicuramente sapranno valorizzare sia il locale sia la cucina nel nome di Capri. A loro l’augurio di tante soddisfazioni.

It gives me great pleasure to announce that two young and promising chefs are taking over the kitchen of the D'Amore restaurant: Antonio Prota and Pasquale Cocozza.
The two chefs took their first steps together, gaining important work experience with chef Lino Scarallo at Palazzo Petrucci in Naples and with Agostino Iacobucci in Bologna at "Ai Portici", both chefs and restaurants have a Michelin star.
Afterwards, Pasquale went into more depth with his cooking techniques on the Amalfi Coast at the starred Capo La Gala in Vico Equense and then La Sponda at the Hotel Le Sireneuse, while Antonio, after experiences in Switzerland and on the Amalfi Coast, landed on the island of Capri, at the JK Place as Sous Chef to Eduardo Estatico. They united to make their business idea come true with the Lavica restaurant in Neapolitan neighbourhood “Vomero”, with which they began to get good clientele and be mentioned in the Michelin Guide 2021, but they ended this adventure due to the pandemic.
So, they accepted the challenge to become the chefs of D'Amore for 2022, which will see the restaurant renovated, amplifying the values of good food, sustainability, Slow Food with local products and hospitality that set us apart.

I would like to personally express my thanks to Pasquale Rinaldo, our Chef for the past 3 years. These last years have been of great accomplishments, we have achieved important goals, including the admission of the restaurant as "Table Remarquable" in Les Collectionneurs, the association of hoteliers and restaurants founded by Chef Alain Ducasse; the inclusion in the prestigious Michelin Guide "Rossa", the conquest of the "Forchetta" in the Gambero Rosso Guide, and above all the affection and satisfaction of our guests.
Thank you Chef for having given your substantial contribution to the success of D'Amore.
With affection, sympathy and esteem we wish you all the best.

Dear friends and guests,
A year full of great satisfaction for us is coming to an end, we thank all our guests and friends who supported us and came to visit.
We are already working for next season which will be a decisive year for us with important developments and improvements to meet the expectations of our guests. In fact, 2022 will be the year of consecration, that is "to be the place where you eat quality", with a high quality cuisine, which will be traditional but not ordinary and with a professional, competent but informal service.
Above all, we will work on a new design for the restaurant, proudly respecting the Capri tradition, and we will amplify the values of our philosophy such as sustainability, biodiversity, quality and selection of raw materials, attention to environmental and social issues.
We are already excited to start working for the next season and to make you live a better food and wine experience in line with the high international quality standards.
A special thanks to all the staff who have done a commendable and difficult job throughout the season. Thanks guys, have a good rest!
