Progettare e produrre le migliori luci a led richiede predisposizione genetica: il dna di un’azienda è la sua esperienza, il suo know-how, il suo modo di fare le cose. Non basta essere stati buoni produttori di lampade per essere anche ottimi produttori di luci a led. Il led è un modo nuovo di concepire la luce. Richiede meticolosità e talento inventivo, come la meccanica di precisione. Come l’hi-tech più avanzato, impone ricerca e continuo aggiornamento dello know-how. Oltre a tutto questo, DGA aggiunge due fattori determinanti: la flessibilità di chi è attento alle esigenze di ogni suo cliente ed una cura maniacale per il dettaglio. Cometa S8 combines an 8 × 8 mm profile with two suspension cables that also carry its power. No separate power cable interrupts the composition. Between ceiling and light, only the essential lines remain.

For projects that require it, a version with the driver integrated into the ceiling canopy is also available.

In this private residence in Milan, designed by hus, Cometa S8 brings light into the interior with a profile measuring just 8 × 8 mm.
Available in lengths up to 3 metres, it delivers continuous, even light with no visible LED points.

Look closely. The light source almost disappears.

In the gallery dedicated to traditional jewellery, small sculptures emerge from the rammed-earth wall through warm, grazing light.
Positioned at the base of each element, the miniaturised Nano Tini i reveals the texture of the surface and defines the sculptures through light and shadow, while remaining almost out of sight.
The result is light that draws attention to the detail, rather than to the luminaire itself.

Five towers inspired by the wings of a falcon.

In the heart of Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Cultural District, the Zayed National Museum tells more than 300,000 years of history.
Designed by Foster + Partners, its architecture draws on the surrounding desert landscape: five soaring towers evoke the wings of a falcon, while the building’s forms and warm tones recall the sands of Saadiyat Island.
Inside, Tono, Tono RF and Nano Tini i contribute to the exhibition lighting across different areas of the museum.

Beneath the vast skylight of the Zayed National Museum , the Magan Boat tells the story of the region’s ancient maritime routes.
Here, Tono works alongside the natural light entering from above, revealing the wooden structure of the boat and the texture of its sail without overpowering the daylight.
A careful balance between natural and artificial light, with the exhibit always at the centre.
