Nelle scuderie è possibile organizzare eventi e matrimoni, oppure mostre o conferenze. Trovate anche La Locanda, un intimo ed accogliente ristorante che d’estate dispone di un ampia terrazza con vista sui vigneti dove degustare piatti tipici della Regione e i vini dell’ azienda. Per gli amanti della natura l’ agriturismo Tra le Vigne, situato vicino alla cantina e immerso nei nostri vigneti, dispone di 4 confortevoli camere. Castello di Buttrio is a wine company located in “Colli Orientali” (Eastern hills) of Friuli Venezia Giulia. This region is set in the North-Eastern part of Italy and it is characterized by a long wine tradition, an important history of its border lands and a varied cuisine. Our wines are the result of a particular care of the aged and historical vineyards, the maintained respect for the varieties and for the land. International varieties like Sauvignon and Merlot live side by side with the indigenous ones like Ribolla Gialla, Refosco and the “misterious” Pignolo. The historic residence of Castello di Buttrio stands on top of a hill, surrounded by vineyards. After the attentive restoration it is now a charming Wine Resort with eight rooms, all carefully furnished by the owner, Mrs. In the building that once used to be the stables, it is now possible to hold events and weddings, exibitions or meetings. In the historical complex you will also find the “Locanda”, an intimate and cosy restaurant where it is possible to taste typical dishes from the region Friuli Venezia Giulia and Castello di Buttrio wines. During the summer it boasts a large terrace with the view over the vineyards.
