Waking up to the Reykjavik’s summer, with the Che Xanh - Vietnamese green tea.

As a representative of one of the classics, this tea will present how important the temperature can be. If infused in 60-65℃, you will extract notes of citrus and lemon grass. Once you increase the temperature (80℃) you will feel how the infusion develops into to***co and mineral notes.

Perfect for cold-brew style - just use the cold water and wait ;)

Napar's tea has appeared at the Reykjavik Residence Hotel in the snack corner! Our offerings include aromatic, high-quality Assam and Chinese Zhu Cha tea, otherwise known as Gunpowder. The temperature of the water, the amount of tea, the size of the cups and the time have been adjusted by us in order to bring out the full flavors of the teas and make it easy to brew them yourself.

Brewing tea forces you to stop for a moment, to slow down. For brewed in a hurry, it doesn't provide as many important sensations. Brewed with calmness, and attention to detail it soothes our minds, and senses and allows us to relax. While taking photos for this post, I poured tea on myself twice.... But it didn't take me out of balance, on the contrary, it forced me to be attentive. Our future is already planned, and since it is, let's give ourselves a respite. Tea and its brewing relaxes and forces us to stop at least for a moment.

🌱Jin Jun Mei🌱 - Beautiful Golden Eyebrows is a Chinese black tea (in China classified as a red tea). Plucked in the early spring in the mountains of Wuyi.

Dry leaves have notes of an apple peel. The flowery infusion delivers notes of dark chocolate, honey - both in taste and smell. Very economic leaves* make this tea a great choice for longer sessions during a rainy day.

🌱Jin Zhen Gold🌱 - Golden Pins is a fully oxidised black tea from China. With a beautiful amber colour of the infusion, it brings rich and complex set of flavours.

Dry leaves have clear notes of apple and honey, while in the infusion you may sense chocolate nuts, and wood. Warm and wet leaves have notes of plum and apple peel.

It is worth to notice, that it’s a fully oxidised variety of, mentioned by us earlier, Yin Zhen - white tea.

🌱Yin Zhen - Silver needles🌱- As one of the gentlest in taste white teas on the market, Yin Zhen is the perfect example of how sweet & delicate tea can be. This is also a great case when it’s fairly easy to see how much tea can differ one from another, depending on the process of their production. Recently described by us Lu’an Gua Pian (classic Chinese green tea) comes from the same region, from the same shrub!

Yin Zhen can be infused many times (4-5), depending on the skills you have.

Kabusecha Kagoshima the taste of this tea is so moving. It is somewhere between the sencha and gyokuro. It has so fresh, grassy, fruity taste. For us it is also a like the fresh composed after first mowed plants. The infusion is purely green.
