Hverinn.is Restaurant & Bar that offers great comfort food & soups. We also offer accommodation & camping site. The restaurant at the camping has 100 seats and a wine bar.

New owners took over the running of the travel service at Hverinn Restaurant and Campsite in the spring of 2019. We are constantly making new changes in order to serve our customers better and in a more comfortable atmospher. The new owner Kristín Porter has a passion for good food of all kinds and to make all our guests feel at home when they stop by. The main emphasis is on our customers and mak

ing their visit to our restaurant and campsite and enjoyable and relaxing one. Hverinn Restaurant and Campsite is within Saga Geopark Project - Iceland and there are many things to see in the nature and great historic, cultural places nearby like Deildartunguhver the worlds largest free flowing hot spring and Krauma Spa are only 2km away, Hraunfossar the Lava falls only 15km away, Reykholt, 5 km away is the former historic home of one of the great storytellers of the Icelandic Sagas, Snorri Sturluson and many more interesting places can be found close by. The camping has 100 places for tents and campers, 60 of them with 3.3 kW electricity, each link with its own leakage paths. There is a playground for children, a sludge disposal, showers, a washing machine and a dryer, pets are allowed. There is a swimming pool with Jacuzzi 150 m away with geothermal water, horse rentals, golf courses and fitness are in the immediate vicinity. The environment is relaxing and friendly, ideal for individuals and groups, people of all ages. The emphasis is on a healthy simple fare of Hamburgers, wraps of many sorts and fish and chips. The Restaurant is famous for its great vegetables soups made from organic fresh vegetables grown at the farm. It is ideal to choose Hverinn Restaurant and Campsite Kleppjárnsreykjum as a stopping point during your next vacation and explore the surrounding area with its beautiful nature and historic, cultural places. SÓLARKAFFI
Nú þegar sólin er farin að lyfta sér upp fyrir Brennistaðahálsinn þá skellum við í Sólarkaffi á Hvernum. Laugardaginn 12. febrúar verða á boðstólnum kaffi og kökur. Kakó eða djús fyrir krakkana. Pönnukökur með rjóma, súkkulaðikaka, hjónabands sæla og hvað annað sem okkur tekst að draga fram. Sólin virðist ætla að sýna sig um helgina og hlökkum til að sjá sem flesta.
