Our Bistro in Hotel Húsafell is looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Pizza Chef to join our team for the upcoming summer season!
Position Details
• Role: Pizza Chef
• Location: Húsafell Bistro, Iceland
• Employment Period: Mid-June 2026 – End of August 2026
• Type: Full time Seasonal
What You’ll Do
• Prepare high-quality, delicious pizzas from scratch in a fast-paced environment.
• Manage pizza dough preparation, proofing, and stretching.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation.
• Work closely with our friendly kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during the busy summer tourist season.
• Keep track of ingredient inventory and prep levels.
• Wok together with kitchen supervisor to prep for our Buffet
What We’re Looking For
• Experience: Proven experience working as a Pizza Chef (experience with high-volume service is a big plus).
• Skill: Excellent dough-handling and pizza-baking skills.
• Attitude: A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, energetic environment.
• Language: Good communication skills in English.
• Reliability: Punctual, organized, and ready to tackle the busy summer rush.
