I salute the bravehearts of 26/11.

Mumbai is a city with a large heart. My emotional remembrance of all those people who lost their lives in the massacre by pakistani terrorists.

My special tributes and humble salaam to the martyrs from Mumbai Police who laid their lives to save people of the City.

My heart goes to all those families who lost their loved ones on this day in 2008.

I love Mumbai. Aamchi Mumbai.....

Misal pav is to Maharashtra what Eggs Benedict is to America. Just a little desi, vegetarian and hell of a hot version of it. Wikipedia has a page dedicated to Misal. And they describe it as a popular breakfast dish from western Maharashtra that originated in Pune.

Misal is a Marathi word which means ‘mixture.

It’s made of usal made from matki (moth bean), farsan and curry and it makes Misal pav unique in taste.

Misal can be eaten with Indian bread rolls called Pav. To prepare Misal first make 'Usal' which is a water based curried preparation of cooked sprouted lentils and then, when topped with farsaan, raw chopped onions, tomato and barik sev it is called Misal.

When in Thane, THE WADAPAV CAFE at Hýde Park, Manpada becomes synonymous with Misal Pav. We are also available on Swiggy and Zomato. Pre order on 8928742432..
