Galla Galla is the Official tea shop of NIT Surat, serving world class Tea and Coffee since fifty years.

There are three 'Gallas', each having its own characteristic preparatory and serving methods. The tea and the coffee served here have been said to have an addiction effect on an NITian which lasts for 4-5 years. The very word 'Galla' is a sign of relief in the life of an average NITian from his hectic schedule of classes and exam preparation. It has been the most important place for Discussions of

topics like, "Start-ups", "Course Curricula", "CAT", "Professors", "Mindbend" and various others. PS:History tells us that an NITian has never said "NO" to a fellow NITian upon being asked to go to a "Galla", even if he has to bunk a Class, Lab or Sleep.
