LaKyrsiew is a boutique tea company set on the banks of the Umiam Lake just outside Meghalaya’s capital, Shillong. Having started planting in 2002 with the ambition to produce small quantities of very fine tea, the emphasis remains firmly on quality. Through a combination of organic farming methods, careful preparation and benefitting from the perfect altitude for growing tea, LaKyrsiew provides t

ea of unique quality, flavor and colour. Only the smallest and finest leaf is hand-plucked, helping to ensure that our standards of quality are maintained, whilst our bespoke brass rolling tables and meticulous withering and roasting techniques benefit the flavor of the tea. The result is a rare and refined award-winning tea, available only to a few exclusive companies in Asia and Europe.
