🌾 From Conversation to Cultivation: A New Organic Farming Movement Begins! 🌱

At Moram Earth, Debanandapur, a meaningful gathering of local farmers turned into a powerful exchange of knowledge and hope. We were honored to host Chinmoy Das, an expert from FIAM, Uttar Dinajpur, who inspired and encouraged farmers to embrace sustainable and organic farming practices through an engaging workshop and discussion.

For the last 12 years, Moram Earth has been working tirelessly in the field of organic agriculture, biodiversity conservation, soil regeneration, and sustainable rural development. This meeting marks the beginning of a larger collective effort to expand organic farming across the villages surrounding Moram.

Together, we are sowing the seeds of healthier soil, chemical-free food, empowered farmers, and a greener future. 🌱💚

🌿 From 5 Trees to 5,000 Trees — A Journey Rooted in Hope 🌿

What began as a simple act of planting just 5 trees has today grown into a movement of over 5,000 trees across villages around Moram Earth.

Every sapling planted has been a promise to the soil, to future generations, and to a way of life that values harmony with nature. Over the years, these trees have become homes for birds, shade for travelers, guardians of biodiversity, and silent witnesses to a community’s commitment to the earth.

But the journey is far from over.

This monsoon, Moram Earth has set an ambitious goal: to plant 2,000 more trees across surrounding villages and community spaces. Native species, fruit-bearing trees, and ecological restoration efforts will help strengthen local ecosystems while creating a greener and healthier future for all.

We believe that meaningful change happens when communities come together.

🌱 Sponsor a sapling.
🌱 Volunteer your time.
🌱 Join our plantation drives.
🌱 Spread the message.

A single tree may seem small, but together they become forests. And forests have the power to transform landscapes, livelihoods, and lives.

Join hands with us this monsoon. Let’s grow shade, clean air, biodiversity, and hope—one tree at a time.

Moram Earth
Growing roots. Growing communities. Growing the future.

A short journey from , Shantiniketan led us to a village where the timeless art of crafting the Srikhol still thrives.

More than just an instrument, the Srikhol carries the rhythm of Vaishnava poetry, kirtan, devotion, and centuries of Bengal’s living heritage. Watching skilled artisans shape each piece by hand was a beautiful reminder of how culture survives through people, craft, and tradition.

Some stories are not written in books—they resonate through sound, soil, and skilled hands.Meet our co-founder and creative head, , as he engages in an inspiring conversation with talented artisans.
