Re-emphasizing the call from the Intergovernmental Group on Tea to direct greater efforts towards expanding demand, particularly in tea-producing countries, where per capita consumption is relatively low, and supporting efforts to address the declining per capita consumption in traditional importing countries, the General Assembly decided to designate 21 May as International Tea Day.

In FY 2024–25, without any established supply chain, logistics network, or formal team in place, we sold 2.25 tons of Champaran Chai—directly in the rural heartlands of Champaran.

We built this from the ground up, relying purely on trust, quality, and the unshakable belief that rural India deserves world-class products. In a market where 90% of consumers buy ₹5 tea packets, we had the machinery to scale—but we chose not to compromise. Producing a ₹5 pack would have meant sacrificing the quality that defines us—not just as a product, but as a brand born of Champaran’s legacy and pride.

As a new name in the tea industry, we carry a bigger responsibility: to uphold the reputation of Champaran, to represent Bihar with integrity, and to earn the world’s respect—not just profits. This is more than tea—this is our tribute to the soil we come from.

We extend our gratitude to the Managing Director (MD) for building the ENGINE of this enterprise from the ground up in Bihar—a region where entrepreneurship often thrives against formidable odds, much like a lotus blooming in muddy waters.
This micro-enterprise operates in a challenging environment, with shareholders who are new to both business and the tea industry. To ensure success, the team must be structured with key roles: a visionary leader (BIG HIRE), an ANALYST, an OPERATIONS expert, a MECHANIC, a CREATOR, a SALES specialist, and a storyteller to craft the BRAND’s identity as a family business.

However, the MD has shouldered an immense burden—acting as a one-person army handling day-to-day operations while also navigating internal dynamics among directors. Instead of fostering collaboration, some directors focus on undermining one another, MASKING their lack of meaningful contribution to team-building and system development.
The reality is that many so-called "LOCAL CONNECTIONS" in such ventures often prove unreliable, and systemic corruption remains a persistent hurdle. The MD’s past efforts—purchasing and transporting tea to Bihar, highlight the corrupt nature of doing business in the region with Fufa and Chacha. The MD has personally carried TEA in train and delivered to every household in the family, every year, during his 30 year job in the tea industry.

While the world sleeps, a one-man army burns the midnight oil, driven by a vision to shape future generations into true human beings. 💡 This isn’t a quick scheme like opening an LIC account to earn commission—it’s the relentless journey of a startup, passing through countless stages, taking years to build teams, systems, and a lasting foundation. 🌱⏳ The wrong advice from those who can’t distinguish five grades of tea only derails and delays progress. But passion, purpose, and perseverance keep the fire alive. 🔥🍵

At our tea startup in Bihar, our expertise lies in curating premium tea leaves sourced from the finest estates. We bring these leaves to our factory located in one of the most economically challenged regions in the country. Our vision is to empower the next generation to grow beyond a century-old legacy of corruption and foster a culture of transparency and progress.

As a private limited company, it’s crucial to acknowledge and respect the dedication of the individual who has invested the most—working tirelessly to keep the business afloat. With no established teams, systems, or supply chains in place, the Managing Director is handling everything from operations to marketing, auctioning, transporting, grading, blending, sorting, and packaging—a true one-man army.

The path to success requires collective effort and commitment from all stakeholders to develop a robust sales and marketing strategy. Despite the immense challenges, the Managing Director has put the company's growth first, even investing in the factory before building his own home—a testament to his selflessness and commitment to this vision.

2 years ago, in the heart of Champaran, Bihar, a visionary entrepreneur took a bold step by establishing the region's first tea blending and packaging factory. Yet, this pioneering venture was met with relentless challenges that would test even the most resilient spirits.

Without teams or systems in place, the managing director became a one-man army, juggling every aspect of the business. The work environment was far from ideal—cramped, poorly equipped, and devoid of basic necessities like WATER & a printer. Every day involved tackling chores, odd jobs, and the endless struggle to keep the business afloat without the support of a dedicated team.

The shadows of ancestral corruption loomed large, further complicating the entrepreneur’s mission. This legacy of dishonesty and inefficiency, combined with the presence of slacker servants and a society resistant to change, created a toxic environment that stifled growth. The absence of government support and the pervasive boisterousness of the surroundings added to the mounting difficulties, leaving the company stagnant and unable to innovate or progress.

Despite these setbacks, there is hope for the future. The challenges faced offer valuable lessons for stakeholders. By learning from the past, making necessary changes in the present, and fostering a culture of growth and innovation, there is potential to transform this struggling enterprise into a thriving success for the next generation. The road ahead may be difficult, but with the right actions, a brighter future is within reach.
