"I failed as an Entrepreneur" these were the last words of CCD owner V G Siddhartha.
No Siddhartha you didnt fail on the contrary this system failed. System failed to save someone like you. Infact you were one of the very few people who gave India something indigenous and at par with International standards. You took Indian Coffee International. You gave employment to over 50,000 people. Every business has its own ups and down and profitability would have eventually come but India as a country, system as a whole failed to support you and it is really sad and worrying that it has to come to an end like this.
Today not just Siddhartha died along with him 1000's of dream also died who thought of doing something big from here.
To do a business in India you just dont need to know about your business but its more important to know about other things like dealing with high interest rates, 100's of Government regulations, never ending Judicial processess, keeping sarkari babus happy , Taunts from Friends and Family , People make fun of you , Best friends leave you in between and the list goes on.
Just imagine a chain like this in US, by this time would have been planning to go International and their Government would be trying to arm twist other Governements to let them enter into their country to do business.
Here we start with his character Assassination calling him a Singaporean Citizen , Scammer , Cheater Etc.
Once again sorry Siddhartha but we strongly feel you didnt fail but the system failed to protect you.
