When it comes to Christmas Cakes, I think this is it. I was lucky to be a part of Cheryl’s Christmas Cake bakeoff. It was a month-long immersive process of learning and unlearning guided by Cheryl. Her meticulous planning and disciplined approach ensured that all the participants came away with a deeper understanding of the ingredients, process and outcome. The process included details on fruit selection, soaking mix, pan preparation, oven readiness, baking itself, curing and maturing the cake and so much more! I feel truly blessed to have been a part of this bake-off. Just like her previous bake-offs, this one too had strict timelines and eliminations along the way and that made it all the more challenging. Virtually mentoring hundreds of bakers across the globe and troubleshooting across time zones along with managing her work…Cheryl pulled this off so effortlessly, Hats Off to her. I am very grateful to her for sharing her knowledge and expertise with me. Here is my humble attempt to bake Kitchen Kemistry by Cheryl R's master recipe.
