If you've ever wondered why we put that heavenly piece of potato goodness to our biryani, well here's your answer! 😁

The Kolkata Biryani isn't a native of the city, but a modified version of a Lucknawi variant. The addition of potato entails an interesting historic trail that began in the princely courts of Lucknow.
