This Ganesh Chaturthi filled our hearts with joy, family and gratitude.

Ganpati Bappa Morya! 🙏🪔

Our kitchen is resting today as we celebrate the arrival of the most beloved guest of all. Fish Curry Rice is closed today in honour of Ganesh Chaturthi, because some festivals deserve to be felt fully, not rushed through.

We’ll be back soon with the same love and coastal flavours you know us for. Until then, enjoy the modaks, soak in the dhol, and let Bappa’s blessings fill your home. 🐘✨

See you on the other side of the celebrations!

Some of them know your usual order before you say it.
Some know exactly how you like your fish prepared.

And some have been part of Fish Curry Rice for so long, they’ve watched our regulars become family.

Humans of Fish Curry Rice is about the people behind the plates, the familiar faces, quiet routines, stories, and personalities that have shaped who we are over the years.

A restaurant is remembered for its food, but it’s the people who make you want to come back.

Here’s to the humans behind Fish Curry Rice. ❤️

There’s a certain kind of happiness that only a perfectly fried Bombil brings.

Add Thecha to it, that fire, that garlic, that green chili punch, and suddenly it’s not just a fry. It’s a feeling. Come find yours. 🐟🔥

Before it reaches the table, every flavour has a story
The coconut, the masalas, the fresh catch, the recipes passed down through generations, all of it comes from a coastline where food has always meant more than just a meal.

For us, the Konkan isn’t an inspiration. It’s where the taste begins.

Tell us which Konkani dish instantly takes you back home?
