A 100-YEAR-OLD FAMILY MUTTON CURRY RECIPE THIS FRIDAY
Growing up, every Sunday at our home meant MUTTON. No negotiations. No alternatives. 😄
Sunday mornings, I would accompany my dad to the butcher for the freshest meat. Back home, my mother would marinate it for hours before the kitchen filled with the distinctive aroma of her mutton curry. The secret was a 100-year-old handmade masala, a recipe passed down for generations, from my grandmother to my mother. 15 ingredients, patiently blended into perfection.
Dad's Sunday ritual always began with a chilled London Pilsner before lunch. Then came the fragrant mutton curry. My sister and I would battle over the tender mutton pieces and the potatoes that had soaked up every bit of that rich, flavourful gravy.
