The inspiration for this voyage comes from our father, Late Mr. Sudhakaran Pottasseril, who owned and operated “Woodlands” and “Suprabhath” in North Paravur. We are now inviting you to our home, when you walk into Prana, you are walking in to our house . We are a heritage restaurant that brings authentic Kerala flavors along with cuisines from Northern India, Tibet and Persia to the table. Our car
efully selected menu focuses on the local delicacies and seafood while reflecting on the cultures that influenced us. The setting of the restaurant echos traditional kerala architecture and style in a centuries old guest house renovated to provide modern day creature comforts while leaving the antique architectural details intact. We seat guests indoors and outdoors in our courtyard or at the Veranda of the main house. As our guest you are welcome to explore the outdoor area which is available for private white tent parties and events. If you happen to wander into our courtyard , do not miss the centuries old ornate “Manichitrathazhu” of the main house and the Tamarind tree as old as the house. It is rumoured that the famous Malayalam writer Malayattoor Ramakrishnan once lived in the guest house, this could have been the setting that inspired him to pen his masterpiece “Verukal”.
