Shikampuri Mutton Kebab:
A very delicious stuffed mutton kebab passed on to us from the Nizams of Hyderabad. This kebab is made with mutton mince mixed with bengal gram dal,Indian spices aromatics and seasonings.
These kebabs can be had as a snack or an appetizer at any time of the day. Shikampuri kebabs are best enjoyed with hot crispy parathas,naan or rumali roti along with raw onion rings and green chutney.

Parwal or pointed gourd as we call it in English is a very popular vegetable in North India, it is available in abundance here. It is cooked in a number of different ways, every state in the North has its own recipe of preparing this vegetable. It is even used in preparing sweets.
