It has been over a year now that we have closed shop...the physical shop that is. But BMK loyalists, thank you for your love and support. So happy that our gharoa Bangali fare is still so popular! And yes, we still do deliveries to Kharghar, Koperkhairne and Airoli. :)

Absolutely mouth-watering Ilish available in the market. This is its simplest cooked avatar. Kalo jeere kancha lonka diye Ilish Machcher jhol. Translated that is Hilsa curry with a tempering of kalonji and green chillies. And the taste? Yummmm....Btw, those are green chillies and not French beans! :)

Today's Special. BMK Special Potol. This dish just happened. The BMK chef was attempting to make another Potol preparation when something went wrong. Of course the 'wrong' was righted in a series of hurriedly taken steps...but the final outcome was nowhere near the initial dish. Instead, it was much much better. We've made this 'wronged' dish several times since...and it's a winner! So much so, that we've decided to christen it! :)
