CKP stands for Chandraseniya Kayastha Prabhu is an Indian Ethnic Community. Originally from Sumer in Southern Mesopotamia, they
migrated down through Kashmir, then northern India (now Sindh) into central
India (now Madhya Pradesh) and into the coastal areas of present-day
Maharashtra. The influence of this history is reflected in CKP cuisine, a unique
and hybrid cuisine that is the product of the

cooking styles and spices intrinsic to
each of the places our ancestors settled in. The unique history of the’CKP’ people
and their vast and varied cuisine is reflected in the variety of offerings, from
vegetable, sprouted bean and rice dishes to meat and fish preparations and of
course a good selection of sweets. It provides an explanation of the spices used in
the recipes as well as techniques for preparing tadkas (tempering the spices) and
for vadhni (or preparation of the serving plate). All in all CKP people are known foodies and they relish all varieties of food. CKP Khasiyat is all about bringing forth variety of food and especially the Indian Coastal Delight for the FOODIES WORLD .
