When we started , we had the same question almost every cafĂŠ owner has at some point,

How long will this last?
How many years can we really sustain this?

Those thoughts crossed our minds too.

Then came 2017.

We hosted an event where people wrote letters to cancer patients, an idea that felt simple, but deeply meaningful.

What happened next changed everything.

In just three hours, over 250 people walked in.

The energy, the warmth, the enthusiasm in that room… it was something we had never experienced before.

And in that moment, something clicked.

We realized this wasn’t going to be a short-term journey.

This was going to be something much bigger.

Because we had never imagined a city like Nagpur would show up so wholeheartedly for something like this.

That day gave us belief.

Belief that a coffee shop could be more than just a place serving coffee.

It could become a space where people connect.
Where conversations begin.
Where communities are built.

Not just for coffee lovers.

But for anyone looking for belonging.

That’s when we understood

We weren’t just building a café.

We were building a community.

And years later, that belief still defines

Nine years ago, when started, coffee culture in the city was still finding its feet.

Our very first roaster was , But they weren’t just supplying us coffee, they were helping us understand it. Blends, roasting, profiling, extraction… every conversation became a lesson.

Back then, ordering coffee wasn’t as simple as it is today. People would walk in and ask for an espresso with milk. We spent countless hours explaining the difference between an espresso, a cappuccino, and a black coffee, one cup, one customer at a time.

There was a time when serving even five black coffees a day felt like a milestone.

Today, those numbers tell a very different story.

Looking back, this journey has never been just about Three Beans. It’s been about an entire city discovering specialty coffee, embracing new experiences, and building a culture together.

Nine years later, we’re grateful to have witnessedand contributed to that transformation.

Here’s to every conversation, every cup, and everyone who has been a part of the journey. ☕❤️
