The tiles are shuffled, the laughter has begun… and this is just the beginning! 🀄️

Our very first Mahjong Workshop at Frosting was a wonderful success! It was so special to see complete beginners leave with smiles, new skills, and a love for the game.

A heartfelt thank you to .tile.club for bringing Mahjong to our city and creating such an amazing learning experience.

A special mention to for championing Indian-made Mahjong sets and helping grow this beautiful game. Wishing you many more tables full of tiles! 🀄

It started with a handful of jamuns.

One bite took me straight back to childhood summers, my mother’s kitchen, and the special jamun drink she’d make every season.

What began as a conversation about a mocktail quickly turned into something much bigger.

A call to Amma.
A trip to the fruit vendor.
Countless conversations with our chefs.

And just like that, the Jamun Festival was born.

For the next two weeks, we’re celebrating one of our favourite seasonal fruits with special drinks, desserts and recipes inspired by family traditions.

The Jamun Festival begins on June 19th

12 years ago, Frosting was just a basement, a dream, and this oven.

Before the restaurant, before the team, before the thousands of cakes and countless celebrations, there was just one oven quietly working away.

Today, we’re saying goodbye to the oven that baked the very first Frosting cakes and welcoming a new one.

It’s funny how a piece of equipment can hold so many memories.

Thank you for every late night, every festive rush, every birthday cake, and every little milestone along the way.

Here’s to where we started, and everything that’s still to come. 🤍
