Cafe Posham Pa Artisanal food, a few dishes at a time. Posham Pa is a cloud kitchen in Gokulam, Mysore. That is ‘Kaafi Kucch’ on your plate!

Where food is not just about a few dishes, but a confluence of 'KAAFI KUUCH'. It is about making the relationship between the delicacy of skill and the ingredients visible in flavourful delicious food. It is about re-living the feeling of warmth with memories around food from childhood- the joyful faces of all women (and men too ;) ) who cooked and rest of the family who waited with equal joy! It

is about gratitude to the culture and tradition of putting food at the centre of any celebration, to create space for all relationships to re-connect and re-bond with affection. It is also about paying homage to our ancestors who helped food revolve from raw to cooked and to honour many others who created a range of variations with it across the world! At the centre of Posham Pa is Rangeeta, a person of
convictions with a high bar of ‘standard’. She is gifted with a keen sense of smell that can spot ‘exactly’
what is amiss in a dish! Equally enhanced is a sense of taste and visuals, which makes her settle for nothing less than good food, looking good! Professionally, she has amassed learnings through 21 years of experience across three different aspects of the food industry. Initial years at the Marriott, ITC Sheraton and Blue Foods, Mumbai as a rising Chef. The Neemrana Hotels, Oyster Bay, Soul Kitchen, Zafraan, ABT Sakthi Group and many more, as a Hospitality and Restuarant Consultant. Three successful restaurants in Coimbatore - That's Y Food, On The Go and Cafe Totaram, as a partner. Posham Pa’s commitment is to make good food with
handpicked quality ingredients in a clean and orderly
environment. It has crossed geographical boundaries and has lined up
dishes from different cultures and traditions. It aspires to bring to you signature dishes contributed by
homemakers, grandmothers, other chefs, friends and
neighbours to celebrate them.

We have been quiet, exceptionally quiet for a while; for various reasons- Our lovely friend Deepti who was managing our social media page decided to knock herself out, not only did she decide to have a baby, she decided to rope the chariot as well. She is on maternity leave and also honeymooning. :D

So that leaves the responsibility on us, and we are pretty useless like that. We miss her and having a tough time filling her shoes.

Meanwhile, we have lots to share with you and we are all over the place in our excitement levels.
What have we been up to and where we are going?
First things first- yes, the rumours are true,we have discontinued the delivery kitchen and have restructured the business model at Posham Pa.
Cafe Posham Pa is now THE EDIT TABLE, we collaborate with Cafes| Restaurants for POP-UPS all across the country and tell stories.
Our recent POP UP was in Kerela, which was received well. More updates on that soon.

Meanwhile, we have been on a sabbatical and are back in school studying here in Delhi, which has been a very interesting journey.

For the last couple of months, we have been travelling, meeting interesting people, attending seminars, attended a Maharaj Association meeting in Bombay that was a funny experience. More on that later.

Co-hosted and sponsored the TIE green Con event (The Indus Entrepreneurs ) in Coimbatore. https://tiecoimbatore.org/greencon. Met some very interesting people at the event, interesting conversations with Mr Padman and Mr Farhad Contractor. When you listen to their stories, you realise how little we have seen or know.

We are in Delhi at the moment Studying, Mentoring students, designing and preparing for our next pop up in Bombay.

PANEERFULLY YOURS!

I have always enjoyed discussing the memories and culture around the food or a recipe, and also my experience as I tried making it.
I believe food is a love language that unites us across differences.

Today it's a story about Paneer, Cottage Cheese. From the more than 1,800 cheeses that exist in the world, the oldest and most versatile is arguably the fresh cheese, paneer, that is ubiquitous in Indian cooking. The history of Paneer is speculative, so I won't go there.

There is hardly any doubt as to how much North and East Indians love their Paneer. :D, this is the story of the longest, most stable relationship. And this relationship has never been disappointing. It’s kinda love affair with paneer, so to say.

It's our "vegetarian" chicken. Whenever we feel like celebrating we cook paneer. Important guests coming over? Cook Paneer! :D
While non-vegetarians have their meat and we vegetarians have our paneer battling it out for the number one position and still remains the undisputed champion in the Vegetarian section.
