There is a Legend talking about an old rundown temple with an iron statue of Guanyin, the Bodhisattva of Compassion deep inside China. However, Being poor, he did not have the means to repair the temple. Instead, twice every month he swept the temple clean and lit incense as an offering to Guanyin. One night, Guanyin appeared in Mr. Wei's dream. She told him of a cave behind the temple where treasure awaited, asking him to share it with others. In the cave, the farmer found a single tea shoot. He planted it in his field and nurtured it into a large bush, from which the finest tea was produced. Wei gave cuttings of this rare plant to all his neighbors and began selling the tea. Over time, the tea brought wealth, happiness, and prosperity to Mr. Wei and his neighbours. Just like the old Legend, we want to share our love and passion for teas with others, hence the name Tea Temple.
